Beginner Shoemaking: Learn How to Make a Mule
Looks from the pages of fashion magazines, catwalks, and top fashion designers will be the objective in this course. With the price of top designer footwear skyrocketing these days, this seminar will be a necessity.
Experienced craftspeople, the novice, and home sewers will understand this workshop. We will offer a resource list that will allow our readers access to tools and raw materials they never thought possible.
Now you can make that special pair of shoes you always wanted!
Patterns, assembly of shoe uppers and lasting of the shoe will be shown in step-by-step lectures. Follow instructions clear enough for a beginner to understand. This may be something you want to do with a few friends or family members. Brides to be will enjoy making their shoes for that special day.
By the end of the seminar, you will have completed a pair of wearable shoes designed and constructed by you.
Sandalmaking
Hey! Summer is here and it’s time to start thinking about making those “designer look” strappy sandals. Have you always wanted a pair of those outrageously priced sexy stiletto sandals? Well, now you can make your own!
The Cobblettes is offering three full days of intensive sandalmaking . This workshop is a beginner sandalmaking workshop where we will be making strappy sandals. No prior shoemaking experience is needed.
In this workshop you will learn to measure the foot and mold the last to your foot. Have you ever really desired a pair of those “hot and sexy “ sandals only to try them on and find that your toes are hanging off the sides or your heel hanging off the back? There is nothing more displeasing than the sight of sandals that don’t fit right. Come learn to make sandals that look great and fit your foot perfectly.
